Dylan Kwasniewski and Rockstar Continue Long-Standing Relationship, Move to NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2013
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (February 27, 2013) – Dylan Kwasniewski, the 2012 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West (NKNPSW) Champion, is competing for Turner Scott Motorsports in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) in 2013 and long-time sponsor Rockstar Energy Drink is coming with him. This season will mark the fifth year that Kwasniewski has been sponsored by Rockstar, which is based in Kwasniewski's hometown of Las Vegas.
Rockstar will serve as a major partner in Kwasniewski's NKNPSE effort in 2013, including being the primary sponsor on his Turner Scott Motorsports Chevrolet in seven races. Rockstar will have a presence on the 17-year-old's car in every race this season, as has been the case since 2009.
Rockstar, which sells multiple flavors of energy drinks throughout 30 countries, has served as either a primary or associate sponsor in every NASCAR race in which Kwasniewski has participated. In 28 NKNPSW starts, Kwasniewski has earned five wins, eight poles, 20 top-fives and 24 top-10 finishes. He won Rookie of the Year honors in 2011 along with the NKNPSW Championship in 2012. Kwasniewski also has three NKNPSE starts, with one top-five and two top-10 finishes.
"This is my fifth year working with Rockstar, and I am really excited to continue to represent their amazing brand," said Kwasniewski. "We have a great relationship, and Rockstar really keeps me going on and off the track. We had an awesome season together last year when we won the West championship. Everything has come together for a great 2013 with Rockstar back on board and us moving to the East Series to compete for the championship with Turner Scott Motorsports. I can't wait to get it all started."
"Dylan's racing achievements in such a short period of time have truly amazed everyone," said Mike Kelso, Marketing Director of Rockstar. "On and off the track, we are honored to have Dylan be a part of the Rockstar family."
Kwasniewski will run the full 2013 NKNPSE schedule for Turner Scott Motorsports. He will next take to the track at Bristol Motor Speedway for the first NKNPSE points race of the year on Saturday, March 16.

This season will mark the fourth season of full-time NASCAR competition for the organization, which expanded in 2011 from a two-truck operation in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) to become the largest stand-alone multi-series team in NASCAR's top-tier touring series. The team earned its first championship when James Buescher captured the NCWTS title in 2012. Turner Scott Motorsports operates out of an 110,000 square-foot state-of-the art facility in Mooresville, N.C. The Chevrolet-backed team has created alliances with General Motors' powerhouse team Hendrick Motorsports, which provides engine support for both its NNS and NCWTS programs, and Earnhardt Technology Group for drive train and suspension technology assistance.
